PortMiami to MIA Transfer (Debarkation Day)
A private transfer from PortMiami to Miami International Airport costs a flat $166 for an executive sedan and takes 15–30 minutes. The rate is identical in either direction — port to airport or airport to port — and includes the 15% gratuity, tolls and taxes. On debarkation morning your vehicle is already at the terminal when you clear customs, so there is no app, no queue and no surge.

How debarkation-day pickup works
Debarkation is the moment rideshare works worst: several thousand passengers walk out of the same building inside a 90-minute window, all requesting cars at once.
- Tell us your ship and terminal when booking; we know the typical clearance windows by line.
- Your vehicle is staged in the terminal's permitted pickup zone before you walk out.
- Luggage help from the curb into the vehicle is standard, not an upsell.
- Ships usually clear between 7:00 and 10:00 AM; self-assist debarkation exits earliest, checked-luggage passengers later.
Which flight should you book?
Cruise lines and airlines both advise against tight same-day connections, and debarkation is the one part of the trip you cannot speed up.
- Domestic flights from MIA: book no earlier than 12:00 PM.
- International flights: book no earlier than 1:00 PM.
- Flying from FLL instead? Add an hour of drive time and push the flight later still.
- Long layover? Book a multi-leg itinerary — port to a beach or hotel stop, then on to the airport later in the day.
